National Sports Grill is an all-American sports diner. And when we say “American”, expect big portions that’s meant for sharing. We left here with our stomachs full and of course took home the left overs. For we can’t finish our meals, Ron had to leave for San Pablo right away.

I came up with the summery night theme because of the venue — which is the same owner of La Carmela de Boracay. Here’s the design:

Of course, my super Irish friends were there, same with my elementary friend, Marinel and high school friend, Rio. Gaaad! I haven’t seen them in ages!

The food served was salo-salo sa bilao consists of pork and chicken barbecue, grilled boneless bangus, pancit, veggies, bagoong, rice and soft drinks. And of course, the booze we’re all up baby!

How to get there:

• From Makati-Buendia bus terminal, take Ceres Talisay-Lipa-Batangas City bound bus. P95/head.
• Drop at Talisay terminal, take tricycle going to Talisay jeepney terminal. P10/head or P30/tricycle trip.
• Take Talisay bound jeep, drop to Talisay church. P23/head.
• From church, take another tricycle and they will take you to Club Balai Isabel. P10/head or P30/tricycle trip.

We arrived at Club Balai Isabel before 1400H but they happily accommodate us even though the check-in time is at 1500H. We stayed at Balai Malvar on a Lakeside Suite. Breakfast included.

The place is huge. It’s like I’m in a community with resort amenities. And I’m loving their infinity pool — Terraza Pool.

Now, this is where the Moby Deep is located. But then, it was closed because it was destroyed by the recent typhoon, Pedring.

We took a rest for a while and prep up for Ezer’s birthday dinner treat. Preparation time is 30 minutes so we pre-ordered what we want to eat and requested the food to be served at 1900H.

So, a dinner date with candle light by the pool. How is that?! ♥♥♥

It was a sweet night. And for the next morning, we had a complimentary breakfast.

I opted for Chorizong Hubad and basy had Balai Chorizo.

We still have time to roam around and swim. And before we check-out, we had a quick lunch first.

Our time here was short, but we really had a great time. And as a souvenir, I bought a body butter ~ Olive Essence. And I am addicted to it. It’s light and the scent is fresh and clean. Pretty affordable at P150.

There goes the fuchsia pink luggage again. I booked for Hot Nails — manicure, foot spa and pedicure and waxing services.

And again, I have requested Precious to do these services. Oh well, choosing the right nail polish! They have a new set of nail colors — Essie.

How convenient to do these services at your own home. Specially when you’re on your lazy-days-mode, and you don’t feel like going out.

And I would say, I’d still go for another services in a couple of weeks. Good job CN!

After 10 long days off the phone, after my week long birthday celebration and after hours and days slacking off….now am back in business.

Just wow.

I feel energized but still, I don’t wanna go back to work yet.
